RADIATION SAFETY TRAINING

WSU personnel who work with radioactive materials and/or radiation machines are required to complete the radiation safety courses below. ( WAC 246-221-140 , WAC 246-222-030 ). The Radiation Safety Office offers separate courses for radioactive materials safety and radiation machines safety (see below).

This requirement applies to prospective authorized users (see S90.20 ) as well as employees who plan to work directly with radioactive materials or radiation machines. For an outline of the courses, please see SPPM S90.15 .

Radiation producing machines users must take numbers 1 through 7 and number 10 below.
